• This is a PRN-Night Shift (as needed) position to fill in for open shifts due to vacations, leave of absences, etc.
• No guaranteed hours or benefits.
• The candidate is required to attend orientation as follows:
• Full Time-Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-5:00PM for approximately 4 weeks
• Transition to the floor for another 4 weeks for 12 hour shifts (some flexibility)
• Variable day or night shifts.
• The location for this position is 7980 Clayton Road Richmond Heights, MO
• Minimum of 24 hours per month is required
• No weekends or holidays.

Conducts interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions including telehealth assessments.

• Provides admissions and intake services to patients and potential patients.
• Responds to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
• Facilitates admission of in-patients and out-patients based on physician orders. Coordinates transportation to another facility and/or referral to a lower level of care as indicated.
• Documents calls and related admission information. May staff crisis hotline as needed.
• Reviews all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence to hospital and regulatory policies.
• Performs insurance verification and prior-authorization based on payor requirements.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field

• No experience required

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.
