Job Highlights- This is a PRN-Night Shift (as needed) position to fill in for open shifts due to vacations, leave of absences, etc.
- No guaranteed hours or benefits.
- The candidate is required to attend orientation as follows:
- Full Time-Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-5:00PM for approximately 4 weeks
- Transition to the floor for another 4 weeks for 12 hour shifts (some flexibility)
- Variable day or night shifts.

- Minimum of 24 hours per month is required

Job SummaryConducts interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions including telehealth assessments.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements Primary Responsibilities- Provides admissions and intake services to patients and potential patients.
- Responds to telephone inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health-related services.
- Facilitates admission of in-patients and out-patients based on physician orders. Coordinates transportation to another facility and/or referral to a lower level of care as indicated.
- Documents calls and related admission information. May staff crisis hotline as needed.
- Reviews all paperwork accompanying patients to ensure adherence to hospital and regulatory policies.
- Performs insurance verification and prior-authorization based on payor requirements.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field
- No experience required
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
