What We Do

The Position

The Supervisor will oversee the workflow and assigned Donor Services staff to maximize donation and support the Mission, Vision, and Values of the organization. The Supervisor will contribute to the departmental success through day‑to‑day support and oversight of workload and activity in Donor Services. The Supervisor may be assigned areas of specialization based on departmental/organizational needs.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee completion of DS activities to maintain a high level of customer, stakeholder, and donor family satisfaction
  • Oversee assigned team to include scheduling, time keeping and timecard signoff, assigning and monitoring work tasks, resolving operational problems, and ensuring adherence to standard work.
  • Provide real‑time support and feedback through coaching, counseling, and by resolving employee issues to deliver optimal individual and team performance.
  • Assist with new hire training of Triage Coordinators, Donation Coordinators, Donor Suitability Coordinators, and Organ Communication Coordinators.
  • Collaborate with Donor Services Trainer, Manager and Director to identify training/development opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct assigned staff performance reviews, goal review, and regularly schedule one‑on‑one developmental meetings with team members in alignment with job expectations.
  • Ability to function as a Triage Coordinator, Donor Suitability Coordinator, and Organ Communications Coordinator as the need arises.
  • Access and review potential donor EMRs to interpret medical suitability for donation.
  • Deploy organ team members by utilizing standard work as needed.
  • Ensure communication with other supervisors and leadership on all DS related activities to maximize departmental opportunities.
  • Communicate procedural changes and ensure staff have up‑to‑date skills and knowledge to maximize donation.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality to ensure staff are adhering to all MT policies and regulatory requirements.
Schedule

Weekday night shift, four 10‑hour shifts per week

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in health or medical‑related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three years as a supervisor or leading a team
  • Familiar with coaching principles that foster teamwork
  • Medical Terminology
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external contacts
