Neuro Med Surg - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program:
Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, PCA, Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Orthopedics, Total joint replacement, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2+ years, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, PICC line management

Required Credentials:

• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
• No medical marijuana cards accepted.
• Drivers License/State

Every other weekend required.

Shift & Scheduling: 2 shifts every other weekend. For day shift it is every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday
-depends on who already is on rotation

Floating Requirements: Could be pulled to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW :
This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted eduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
