Schedule
:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Experience: One year of experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and updating medical and medication histories

• Preparing patients for exams and assisting with provider evaluations and procedures

• Performing basic diagnostic testing as appropriate and documenting care accurately

• Reinforcing provider directed patient education

• Maintaining clean, well stocked exam rooms and adhering to safety and infection prevention standards

• Assisting with scheduling tests, referrals, followups, and supporting front office operations

• Participating in quality initiatives, staff meetings, and other MArelated duties
