Full Time – Day shift (Mon‑Fri 8:00 am–4:30 pm)

Position starts at $19 per hour and increases based on education and experience.

The SSM Health Rehabilitation Network’s Day Institute Program offers a specialized, outpatient rehabilitation program in a flexible full‑day format for individuals who can benefit from a comprehensive approach to recovery.

• Plan and implement appropriate recreation activities for patients in accordance with organizational, hospital, and professional guidelines.
• Provide therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload.
• Orient patients to recreation therapy and run hospital‑wide leisure, social, and divergent programs.
• Educate patients on community resources.

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation required.
• Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligibility to take the exam.
