Find your calling at Mercy! We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a growing neurosurgery clinic alongside a seasoned physician. The MA will play a key role in supporting both patient care and clinic operations.

Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.

Education:

Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Experience:

One year of experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.

• Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and updating medical and medication histories
• Preparing patients for exams and assisting with provider evaluations and procedures
• Performing basic diagnostic testing as appropriate and documenting care accurately
• Reinforcing provider‑directed patient education
• Maintaining clean, well‑stocked exam rooms and adhering to safety and infection‑prevention standards
• Assisting with scheduling tests, referrals, follow‑ups, and supporting front‑office operations
• Participating in quality initiatives, staff meetings, and other MA‑related duties
