Position:Personal Care Attendant
Your Role as a Personal Care Attendant
In this rewarding position, you'll provide compassionate physical and emotional support to our residents, creating a warm and nurturing environment that enhances their quality of life.
What You'll Do- Personal Care:
Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while ensuring their comfort and dignity. - Safety Monitoring:
Monitor residents for signs of distress, follow safety protocols, and respond to incidents appropriately. - Documentation:
Record resident care, changes in condition, and daily activities of living accurately. - Team Communication:
Collaborate with nursing staff and fellow caregivers to address residents’ needs. - Resident Engagement:
Organize and participate in activities that promote residents’ physical and emotional well-being. - Privacy Maintenance:
Uphold residents’ confidentiality and privacy per company policy and HIPAA regulations.
- Age &
Education:
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. - Certifications:
CPR and BLS certifications are a plus; we can train you. - Interpersonal
Skills:
A friendly, patient, and positive attitude with excellent listening skills. - Teamwork:
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team. - Attention to Detail: A keen focus on residents’ comfort and safety.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and safely transfer residents.
- Vision requirements include near and far vision with good depth perception.
