Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience).

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Outpatient Oncology Pharmacy Specialist to join our team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure safe and effective use of oncology therapy.
• Collaborate with nurses, oncologists, midlevel providers and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Manage drug‑drug interactions.
• Develop treatment plans.
• Support patients with education on their medications and chemotherapy treatment plans.

• Assess the overall status of the patient’s health condition and evaluate medication profile for optimal patient outcomes. Monitor therapy and goals of care. Document all activities and communication as appropriate.
• Participate in professional development and research activities.
• Contribute to performance improvement, clinical effectiveness, drug use evaluation, and HSO/BJC committee activities.
• Participate in the education and training of pharmacy staff, residents and students, and serve as a role model and mentor.
• Participate in the identification and implementation of targeted drug cost reduction programs.

• Strong background in oncology pharmacy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes.

• PGY1 Residency required. (PGY2 in Oncology/Ambulatory Experience preferred).
• Work schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday days.

• Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.
  
  D.).
• Active State License (Medication Therapy Services in MO, RPh).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in oncology or ambulatory pharmacy.
