The Gig Ultrasound Technologist operates imaging equipment and software, primarily ultrasound equipment, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, maintaining high-quality imaging standards, and collaborating with patients and healthcare professionals. The technologist will float between designated Mercy facilities.

• Salary: $45.00/hr

• Employment: GIG, Per Diem/PRN

• Status: W-2 employee, Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours.
• Experience:
  
  1 year of relevant experience.
• Certifications:
  
  2 applicable registries with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or CCI within the work area;
  Basic Life Support (BLS).
• License:
  State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
