Travel RN - Case Management​/Utilization Review - Case Management

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with at least two years of large facility case management experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a day shift role.

Job Details

• Work in case management covering all inpatient units except psychiatric and women and infants in a large hospital,

• Serves patient population in a hospital with 1000+ beds,

• Day shift Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with shifts from 7:00-15:30 or 8:00-16:30 as needed,

• Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals,

• Epic and Allscripts charting systems are used, with Epic experience required,

• Average daily census exceeds 1000 patients,

Job Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum 2 years of case management experience in a hospital with at least 1000 beds; candidates with experience in facilities with 200+ beds may be considered,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• No first-time travelers accepted,

• Academic healthcare experience preferred,

• Must live outside a 75-mile radius from the facility,

• Valid Social Security Number and date of birth required,

• Compliance with fit testing policies, including facial hair requirements,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessments, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, and coordinating referrals for home health, DME, skilled nursing facilities, LTACHs, and IRFs,

• Team members are expected to cover all hospital units except psychiatric and women and infants,

• No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius,

• No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract, and no time off permitted in the first week,

• Permanent former employees must wait one year before returning as a traveler,

• Maximum contract length is 18 months, after which a 3-month break is required,

• Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start,

• Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing if required,
