2 years Cardiac Medical ICU and 2+ years CVI experience of recovering open hearts directly from the OR
• Float Requirements:
May be floated to other stepdown units depending on staffing needs
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 22
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Equipment:
Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun,
• EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/
Experience:
2 years Cardiac Medical ICU, inpatient only and 2+ CVICU experience recovering open hearts directly from the OR
• Preferred Skillset/
Experience:
experience with medical ICU patients, cardiac emphasis (arrhythmias, STEMI, post arrest)
• Type of Patients on Unit: sepsis, respiratory (pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, etc.) post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations, CIWA,
• Personality Fit: We expect excellence and hold each other accountable in a professional manne r.
