Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their dynamic team. The role involves working closely with a provider, managing around 30 patients daily, and performing point-of-care tasks such as urine dips. The focus is on recognizing abnormal results, particularly with renal transplant patients. The position also involves interaction with med students, fellows, and back office staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a healthcare provider to deliver patient care.
• See approximately 15 patients in the morning and 15 in the afternoon.
• Perform point-of-care tasks, including urine dips, and identify abnormal results.
• Work within a team, including back office staff, med students, and fellows.
• Operate within a clinic environment focused on renal transplant patients.

Qualifications

• MA certification is required before starting.
• BLS certification is required before starting.
• Preferred:
  Experience with EPIC system.

Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Technical proficiency in medical assisting and patient care tasks.

Additional Requirements

• Must be flexible with work hours, as shifts may occasionally extend past 5 p.m.
