Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring a MO or compact RN license and BLS/NIH certifications.

Job Details

• Position is based in the Neuro Med/Surg Tele unit of an acute care hospital,

• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30),

• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6,

• Must work two shifts every other weekend, with night shifts scheduled to accommodate rotation,

• Floating may be required to any unit within scope except ICU, SDU, and ED,

• Epic charting is used,

• Navy scrubs are required,

Job Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required,

• BLS (BCLS) and NIHSS certifications required,

• 1-2 years of relevant experience required; 2+ years preferred,

• Experience with Epic EMR may be required for certain units,

• No local candidates; must reside at least 75 miles from facility,

• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position,

• Paid online training modules are required during orientation (up to 16 hours),

• All travelers can work an 18-month assignment, followed by a mandatory 3-month break,

• Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation,

• Parking is provided at no cost,
