Full‑time Imaging Specialist ‑ Radiation Therapy at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital Center for Advanced Medicine, St. Louis, MO.
** Must reside in MO or IL and be willing to come onsite if needed**.
- Hybrid:
Day Shift, M‑F, 40 hours per week (Flexible 5‑8’s or 4‑10’s) - Import and manage all simulation scans and outside‑hospital records. Localize and contour structures for treatment planning.
- No weekends! No call!
- Required:
License or certification in RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES or Radiation therapy background.
Day shift hybrid position; flexible start times. No weekends or on‑call duties.
OverviewBarnes‑Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and one of the nation's top hospitals. It is a Magnet‑certified facility staffed by university faculty and community physicians, supported by residents and allied health professionals. The Radiation Oncology Department works with the Siteman Cancer Center, the region’s only National Cancer Institute‑designated comprehensive cancer center.
Role PurposePerforms radiotherapy imaging tasks and provides assistance to physicians, dosimetrists, radiation therapists and medical imaging technologists.
Responsibilities- Manages active clinical databases, including archiving and restoring patients from backup systems.
- Utilizes hospital informatics systems to retrieve imaging and demographic data and import outside‑hospital imaging studies into in‑house software systems and databases.
- Fuses distinct imaging studies on planning software.
- Delineates radiographic anatomy with commercial contouring software in CT and MRI.
- High School Diploma or GED
