- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
- Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Medication Reminders:
- Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.
- Support clients in managing their medication routines.
- Meal Preparation and Nutrition:
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
- Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
- Companionship and Social Interaction:
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
- Health Monitoring:
- Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
- Document care provided and any notable observations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- MUST HAVE experience with Parkinson's disease.
- MUST HAVE experience with Hoyer Lift.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
