Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm, is seeking a Lending Specialist in their St. Louis, Missouri location.
*** Entry Level Candidates Welcome!!
- Ensure proper homeowner’s insurance coverage and verify accurate mortgagee clauses
- Conduct comprehensive quality control reviews to confirm file completeness and signed documentation
- Order and manage appraisals for Loan Officers
- Provide appraisal quotes to Loan Officer Assistants
- Upload completed appraisals and route to appropriate associates
- Upload HELOC files into Encompass and ensure accurate system documentation
- Strong understanding of mortgage industry regulations, including:
- Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)
- Truth in Lending (TILA)
- Ability to analyze issues using logic and reasoning to identify effective solutions
- Strong written communication skills tailored to various audiences
- Customer-service mindset with a focus on quality standards and satisfaction
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical systems, including file management and documentation processes
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of banking or mortgage industry experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with ICE Mortgage Technology’s Encompass preferred
