Financial Controller

We are partnering with a well‑established, growth‑oriented organization in the industrial equipment and technical services space seeking a Controller to lead and elevate its accounting and financial operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building processes, improving visibility, and partnering closely with operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, operational finance experience, and a leadership mindset with the ability to support executive decision‑making.

The Controller will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. This individual will work closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights that drive strategic growth and operational efficiency.

• Lead all accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month‑end close
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain financial KPIs and reporting dashboards
• Provide financial insights to support executive decision‑making

• Partner with operations leadership to analyze margins, job costing, inventory, and revenue performance
• Improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls
• Lead cash flow forecasting and working capital management
• Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, or expansion planning as needed

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Manage audit processes and external CPA relationships
• Maintain strong internal controls and financial integrity
• Oversee tax filings and compliance
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Establish efficient workflows and accountability standards
