Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a temporary Financial Analyst to assist its finance team during an extensive multi-year audit. This role will play a critical part in supporting audit requests by extracting, organizing, and summarizing large volumes of historical financial data. This position is highly project-focused and ideal for someone who enjoys detailed analytical work in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

• Pull and organize historical financial data in support of external audits
• Extract data from ERP systems, shared drives, and internal databases
• Summarize and present data clearly for auditors and internal stakeholders
• Support audit sample requests by locating and uploading required documentation
• Work extensively in Excel to reconcile, analyze, and validate data
• Upload files and documentation to secure auditor portals
• Collaborate with cost accounting and finance teams as needed
• Flex into additional finance or cost accounting support tasks as workload allows

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, with equivalent experience
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs required)
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage and organize large volumes of data
• Comfortable working in a fluid, deadline-driven audit environment

• Background in finance, accounting, or financial analysis
• Experience in a manufacturing or corporate finance environment
• Exposure to Oracle ERP systems
• Experience with GL Wand/Report Wand
• Familiarity with SAP BPC or financial consolidation tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
