Correct Capital, a dynamic wealth management firm located in Clayton MO, is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor who seeks to improve the lives of our clients through detailed financial planning relationships. We are an independent Registered Investment Advisor practice that assists clients across the US with their concerns around investing, retirement planning, estate planning, and more. We work to give clients peace of mind when it comes to their financial decisions.

Job Description:

The Financial Advisor, with the support of the Correct Capital advisor team, will:

  • Manage wealth management relationships for small and mid-sized clients
  • Business development for wealth management and institutional clients
  • Assist with participant education for our 401K clients.
  • Manage projects and education campaigns by building effective presentations when required
  • Simplify complex financial concepts while building rapport and credibility with highly valued clientele
  • Thoughtfully introduce clients to different investment strategies and bring together additional client assets while engaging in positive, client-centered discussions
  • For small and mid-sized clients, may handle the client relationship autonomously, and work with other team members for larger asset sized or more complex clients.
  • Business development and encouraging new client relationships are vital and are compensated through our business development incentive.
  • This individual is projected to grow into the role of Lead Advisor over time.
Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain your own schedule and work independently at times
  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in your day and set expectations with others
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of financial services experience
  • Series 65, or combination of Series 7 and 66
  • CFP designation or pursuit of CFP designation preferred
  • Experience with CRM (Redtail), financial planning software (Right Capital) and Fidelity Wealthscape and Schwab Advisor Center is a plus.
Compensation:
  • Base salary in the range of $100K-$130K covering day-to-day expectations and tenure. In addition, our compensation framework includes incentives designed to support and reward relationship transition efforts.
  • Plus:
    Business Development Incentive: 40% of new revenue (in first year billed), paid semi-annually in July and January
  • Plus:
    Team-Based Incentive, including participation in the growth pool funded by 30% of the firm's revenue growth from all sources, paid out in June and December. Each team member's participation in the pool is based on relative contribution to the team.
