Overview

Thompson Coburn LLP is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our Public Finance practice group in our St. Louis, Missouri office. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriters’ counsel, issuer’s counsel, or bank counsel in connection with a wide range of public finance transactions. Experience working with state and local governments, underwriters, and financial institutions on complex tax-exempt and taxable financings is strongly preferred.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage sophisticated matters independently, draft and negotiate primary transaction documents, provide strategic counsel to clients, and oversee all aspects of the financing process from inception to closing. Successful candidates will possess excellent organizational skills, strong written and oral communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple complex matters at one time.

Candidates should be licensed to practice in Missouri or eligible for admission. This position is open to recruiters.

Responsibilities
