As a Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst, you will serve as a critical guardian of Equifax's revenue integrity, specifically focusing on our high-growth Government and Workforce Solutions verticals. Reporting to the Revenue Assurance Manager, you will elevate our billing operations from transactional processing to strategic revenue management. You will act as a bridge between Fulfillment, Sales, and Finance, ensuring that complex upstream data is accurately consumed, processed, and billed.
This is a visible role where you will identify revenue leakage, automate manual controls, and lead billing integrations for new acquisitions.
This position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, or from our office in St. Louis, MO. (This is not a fully-remote role). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
What You’ll Do- Revenue Stewardship:
Monitor and analyze complex revenue streams to identify discrepancies, focusing on the prevention of revenue leakage through the design and enforcement of robust internal controls. - Government Vertical Leadership:
Serve as the primary escalation point for the Government vertical, managing high-complexity billing issues, historical reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with specific GSA/State requirements. - Process Innovation:
Propose and implement scalable process improvements to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the billing lifecycle; drive automation of manual billing functions to reduce error and increase efficiency. - Cross-Functional Orchestration: collaborate with Finance, Sales, Fulfillment, and IT to resolve systemic revenue issues; ensure upstream data is received and processed according to customer contracts.
- System & Data Integrity:
Demonstrate deep understanding of fulfillment and billing systems to identify potential issues before they impact the customer; manage acquisition migrations to integrate new billing processes into the Global Billing Operations platform. - Operational Leadership:
Manage essential operations supporting revenue assurance; proactively assess skills required for variance positions and potentially provide functional leadership to a small team of analysts.
- 5-7+ years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Billing Operations, Customer Experience, or Financial Analysis, preferably within the Financial Services, Fin Tech, SaaS, or highly regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Data Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and experience analyzing large datasets to detect anomalies. - Systems Knowledge:
Solid understanding of enterprise financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and billing platforms. - Operational Grip:
Proven experience reconciling historical accounting data and resolving complex, escalated billing disputes.
- Experience working with Government contracts (federal/state) or within the mortgage/lending data sector.
- Previous tenure at a large, publicly-traded financial institution (e.g., Citigroup, Wells Fargo) or major Technology/SaaS organization.
- Demonstrated ability to use data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire) or query languages (SQL) to drive insights.
- Experience with Salesforce would be a plus
- A "Leading" mindset:
The ability to mentor junior team members and drive change without direct authority. - Experience leading billing integration projects during M&A activities.
