Job Summary
The Commercial Lending Coordinator independently supports the Commercial Lending staff and external clients. This role partners closely with Loan Officers and Loan Administration to manage loan documentation, maintenance, monitoring, and exception tracking. Responsibilities include supporting loan closings, account maintenance, loan transactions and resolving past‑due or matured loans. The position also provides direct customer support for commercial loan and deposit products, including document review, closings, account research, information requests, title and appraisal ordering, and wire transfers.
ResponsibilitiesLoan Processing & Documentation
- Compile complete new and renewal loan packages by coordinating with Lenders and third parties, including ordering title work, flood determinations, appraisals, UCC searches, and corporate documentation.
- Request and verify proof of insurance, CIP documentation, credit reports, and corporate good standing.
- Complete required checklists and deliver finalized loan packages to the Loan Documentation department.
- Review executed loan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Notarize documents as required and distribute loan proceeds checks.
- Coordinate timely delivery of closed loan files to Loan Administration for booking.
- Assist with post‑closing disbursements as requested by the Lender.
- Monitor and track file exceptions, covenant compliance, past‑due and matured loans.
- Provide high‑quality customer service to internal partners and external clients.
- Conduct account research and respond to information requests.
- Support loan and deposit‑related inquiries, wire transfers, and system research using Fiserv and imaging platforms.
- Attend loan closings when requested.
- Attend employee meetings and other required functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of three (3) years of commercial lending or related experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending concepts, including title, insurance, and appraisal requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced computer proficiency and ability to work across multiple systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- General office environment.
- Must be able to work effectively at a computer for extended periods.
- Regular and reliable attendance required.
