What You'll Be DoingThe HELOC Lending Specialist provides support to second mortgage originations while promoting service, quality, efficiency and compliance.
What We're Looking For- Ensure proper insurance coverage and mortgagee clause for home owner's insurance.
- Conduct quality checks the file for completeness and signed documents.
- Order appraisals for all Loan Officers.
- Provide appraisal quotes to Loan Officer Assistants.
- Upload appraisals and send to the appropriate associate.
- Upload HELOC files into Encompass.
- Understand and comply with mortgage industry regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, Truth‑in‑Lending laws, etc.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience. - Minimum

2+ year of banking experience.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Experience in ICE Mortgage Technology's Encompass is preferred.
