Reports to: VP of Marketing

The ideal candidate:
  • 5+ years of experience producing large-scale corporate events (1,000+ attendees) with a track record of flawless execution.
  • Expert negotiator with deep experience contracting hotels, venues, destination management companies (DMCs), and external vendors.
  • Strong command of event space planning, audiovisual and F&B requirements, and detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Highly organized project manager who can run multiple work streams, budgets, and timelines across three major annual events plus smaller internal programs.
  • Creative, experiential thinker with a strong point of view on immersive attendee experiences and the ability to direct design partners with clarity.
  • Confident, proactive communicator who builds trust with executives, partners, preferred suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable representing Facilisgroup on-site-calm under pressure, adaptable, and solutions-oriented.
In this role you will:
  • Own strategy, planning, and end-to-end execution for Facilisgroup's three signature annual events (two of which are 1,000+ attendees) and additional regional, partner, and internal events hosted at headquarters.
  • Lead venue sourcing and contract negotiations (hotels, meeting space, DMCs, production, entertainment, transportation), ensuring best-in-class experiences and strong commercial terms.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, forecasting and tracking spend, and delivering post-event recaps and ROI insights.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Success, and Executive Leadership to align event programs with business goals, messaging, and community objectives.
Oversee event logistics including space planning, session tracks, speaker operations, staging/AV, catering, staffing, signage, transportation, room blocks, and attendee communications.
  • Own event technology and registration workflows, including Cvent builds, attendee journeys, check-in, mobile app experiences, surveys, and reporting.
Collaborate with the Creative/Design team to conceptualize immersive themes and on-site environments; provide clear direction for graphics, signage, digital assets, and vendor deliverables.
  • Manage exhibitor and trade show operations, including booth planning, show services, shipping, lead capture, and on-site execution; support internal trade shows and showcases hosted by Facilisgroup.
  • Build and maintain relationships with preferred suppliers, partners, and key vendors to expand programming options and elevate attendee experience year over year.
  • Serve as the on-site lead for event execution-running show flow, managing stakeholders, troubleshooting in real time, and ensuring a white-glove experience.
As Events Manager, you bring with you:
  • Extensive large-scale corporate event experience (1,000+ attendees) including conferences, user events, supplier showcases, and executive-level programs.
  • Proven experience negotiating hotel/venue contracts, BEOs, DMC agreements, production/AV contracts, and vendor scopes of work.
  • Strong trade show background-exhibiting, sponsorship/exhibitor management, show services coordination, and internal showcase execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to create immersive, brand-forward experiences and guide creative execution across multiple asset types.
  • Expert-level project management, budget ownership, and timeline discipline; comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-facing updates and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience with Cvent strongly preferred; ability to build registration sites, communications, and reporting dashboards.
  • Experience with Hub Spot strongly preferred for event follow-up…
