Clearance Requirement

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret SCI with Poly clearance.

Shift Availability

Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the facility are operating at peak efficiency through planned preventive maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response.
  • Serve as an expert technical resource reporting to a program manager, interacting with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO) and third‑party vendors, and act as the singular focal point for all facility operations and support.
  • Maintain mission‑critical servers with uptime better than 99.999%.
  • Assist in administration and regulation of junior technicians and oversee contractors’ electrical roles.
  • Analyze system requirements, conduct research on equipment and procedures, and recommend modifications to new and existing systems.
  • Install new units or replacement parts according to specifications and established safety guidelines, relying on MOPs, manufacturer literature, and industry best practices.
  • Apply safe working practices, including lockout/tagout, MSDS, and good housekeeping methods.
  • Type and utilize common administrative and office software.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and modify malfunctioning electronic units such as printed circuit boards, sensor mechanisms, and advanced electrical circuits.
  • Perform maintenance, installations, and service repairs on critical data center systems and all industrial electrical equipment, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Use appropriate test equipment—including infrared scanning, vibration analyzers—to perform diagnostics and log activities in CMMS.
  • Conduct daily walk‑throughs, documenting parameters (power availability, temperature, humidity, alarm status) for trend analysis and BAS adjustments.
  • Manage mechanical and electrical systems during emergencies, including HVAC, power distribution, generators, load transfer, UPS, DC power, and fire/life safety systems.
  • Identify required materials and parts, prepare and present cost estimates for procurement.
  • Maintain relationships with major vendor accounts and coordinate all critical environment vendors during maintenance, emergencies, and break/fix events.
  • Set up and operate electrical data capturing devices (e.g., Dranetz, Fluke PQA).
  • Create and periodically review MOPs and SOPs to ensure up‑to‑date safety guidelines.
  • Collect and generate internal and vendor field service reports; review all reports before submission to end users.
  • Develop reliability reports to identify areas for increased efficiency, resiliency, or downtime mitigation.
  • Conduct training with junior technicians and other staff on electrical equipment/system maintenance, repairs, and operation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or GED.
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
  • Licensed or certified by a national or state certification program at the Master or Journeyman level, preferred.
