Civil Engineer

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in one of the posting locations below. In this role you will be focused on the planning, design, and management of various civil engineering projects including water/wastewater/stormwater and transportation projects for local and government agencies. St. Louis, MO or Belleville, IL

What You'll Do:

* Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies

* Work with a variety of projects including water, sewer, streets, parks, K-12 and higher education, and renewables

* Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations

* Perform condition assessments

* Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans

* Manage projects and programs from inception to completion

* Working knowledge of storm hydrology calculations

What You'll Need:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

* 3 - 8 years of Civil Engineering experience

* FE or PE Certification, or expected to be obtained

* Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D

* Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation

* Management, communication, and organization skills
