The Role We Want You For

The Electrical Designer I will be responsible for developing detailed electrical installation drawings and conceptual designs across diverse industries. This role involves creating comprehensive design deliverables-including power distribution, lighting, and low voltage system layouts-utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and industry codes like the National Electrical Code.

This is an opportunity to contribute professional-quality drawings for client projects, collaborating closely with engineers and project teams in a dynamic environment.

The Specifics of the Role
  • Develop conceptual or detailed electrical designs in power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems for a variety of industries.
  • Electrical design deliverables include electrical one lines, power and lighting plans, electrical site plans, special systems plans, & grounding plans.
  • Develop Revit and AutoCAD 3D & 2D models.
  • Apply basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable building codes to design projects.
  • Analyze mechanical and architectural designs by reviewing equipment general arrangement drawings and building floor plans.
  • Produce professional quality drawings that will be issued to clients for permitting and construction.
Requirements
  • Associates or technical degree
  • 2+ years of applicable electrical design experience.
  • Basic knowledge of National Electrical Code and Building Codes
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Basic knowledge of the Electrical Construction industry.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
