Senior Mechanical Engineer SUMMARY
This Senior Mechanical Engineer role leads the design and development of water‑cooled chiller systems, including centrifugal compressor systems. You will work for a large, global engineering and manufacturing organization known for complex heat transfer and HVAC&R solutions serving industrial and marine markets. This position is based in the St. Louis Metro area.
YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:- Design and develop centrifugal water‑cooled chiller systems and understand their theory of operation from concept through production.
- Lead engineering projects, manage technical scope, and deliver systems on time and within budget.
- Size and select HVAC&R components while performing thermal, fluid, and mechanical system analysis.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings, bills of material, and technical documentation using modern CAD tools.
- Complex engineering challenges where you own new product development from idea to launch.

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field and several years of experience designing chiller systems, especially centrifugal water‑cooled systems. Prior experience leading engineering projects and developing new mechanical systems is required.
