Your impactJacobs is seeking an Entry Level Transportation/Civil Engineer to join our Highway/Roadways team in St. Louis, MO, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide.
Responsibilities- Utilizing CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and/or models to communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedures;
- Participating in project meetings;
- Assist in providing technical and operational support for exposure to highway engineering principles, standards, and practices;
- Project Delivery for key clients (including design, environmental, procurement processes);
- Preparation of right‑of‑way plans, detailed roadway designs, drainage, floodplain management, and intersection improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field;
- Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably Micro Station/Open Roads/Geopak).
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field;
- Previous experience design or transportation‑related coursework;
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $90,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
