Boeing seeks Associate through Lead 777X Structural Analysis Engineers to perform structural assessments, finite-element and analytical evaluations of metallic and composite aircraft structures, support certification and in-service investigations, and coordinate with other engineering groups. Candidates must have a BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering and relevant years of experience depending on level; experience with commercial airplane structural analysis and Boeing tools is preferred.

The Boeing Company is looking for highly motivated 777X Structural Analysis Engineers (Associate, Experienced and Lead) to join the 777X Structural Analysis Team in Berkeley, MO. The 777X program is working to complete certification deliverables for 777-9 and 777-8 Freighter as well as supporting full rate production (on-site). Our team is currently hiring Associate (level
2) and Experienced (level 3 or
4) Structural Analysis Engineers.
Position Responsibilities :
Assessing defects in aircraft structure (metallics and/or composites), interrogating the analysis for structural margin impacts and documenting the results
Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the products environment
Verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s/Master’s of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering

2+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s
or
work related engineering experience with a Master’s
Security Clearance or ability to obtain clearance:
Not Required.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Commercial airplanes structural analysis experience
Boeing analysis tools (Common Structures Workstation, IAS, CATIA and ENOVIA)
Experience with metallic/composite analysis
