Base pay range: $75,300.00 /yr – $/yr.
Location:
Midwest (Kansas City, MO; Saint Louis, MO; Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; Cincinnati, OH).

As a Mid-Level Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist at Jacobs, you will help solve critical environmental challenges by leading field and office work on site characterization and remediation projects for government and private-client projects.
- Lead and manage field projects, overseeing soil and groundwater sampling, drilling, and subcontractor oversight.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, internal staff, and subject matter experts to coordinate work.
- Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and design and implement pilot remedial systems.
- Mentor and support project team members, guiding them toward common goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or a closely related field.
- 5–10 years of professional experience delivering environmental site characterization and remediation projects, including field methodologies and data assessment.
- Experience with on‑site subcontractor oversight and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain it.
- Master’s degree in engineering, geology, or related discipline.
- Professional registration (e.g., Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist) or intent to obtain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in field and data analysis.
- Familiarity with U.S. EPA regulations, including CERCLA and RCRA. 사항>
