Role Description
The Vice President of Civil Engineering is an on-site, full-time leadership role based in St. Louis, MO. This position involves overseeing civil engineering operations, managing project teams, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing project timelines and budgets, maintaining client relationships, and driving business development initiatives. The Vice President will contribute to strategic planning, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and foster innovation and efficiency within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Construction Management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and oversee large-scale engineering projects.
- Experience in Land Surveying and GIS/Planning Services is highly valued.
- Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure is required, with licensure in one or more states served by ABNA (e.g., Missouri, Illinois) considered a strong asset.
- Exceptional communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with business development, proposal writing, and maintaining client relationships is advantageous.
