This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in St. Louis, MO, for a Vice President of Transportation Engineering. The Vice President will oversee transportation engineering projects, manage a team of professionals, and ensure timely project delivery while meeting quality standards. Responsibilities include developing strategies to expand the firm’s transportation engineering services, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals.
The role requires providing technical guidance, budget management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong technical expertise in civil and structural engineering, with proven experience in transportation engineering projects
- Proficiency in project and team management, including supervision, resource allocation, and project scheduling
- Experience in contract negotiation, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills
- Familiarity with land surveying, GIS, and planning services is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in one or more of the states ABNA operates in is highly desirable
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships and foster business development
