Position: Equipment & Tool Engineer with Security Clearance
As a Tooling Engineer, you will evaluate program and project requirements to develop complex equipment and tooling concepts. You will analyze technical data to assess the impact on product engineering design and rate estimates, while also identifying opportunities for robotics, automation, and system integration.

Your role will ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design tooling solutions using NX or CATIA that meet production system requirements and enhance manufacturing efficiency. Compile and analyze technical data to determine effects on product engineering design and production rate estimates. Identify and recommend robotics, automation, and technology solutions for tooling and equipment integration. Ensure compliance with safety standards, ergonomic factors, and regulatory requirements throughout the tooling lifecycle.

Validate contractual performance milestones and maintain configuration control of tooling and equipment. Conduct reviews and prepare plans for production readiness, preventative maintenance, and spare parts management. Provide training for production and maintenance personnel on tooling operation and maintenance. Develop work-arounds and maintain configuration of hardware, software, and documentation related to tooling. Perform studies and make recommendations for the disposition of tooling assets.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a Masters OR work related experience with a PhD Preferred: NX design experience 3D modeling experience
