• Preliminary assessments of security requirements.
• Concept creation and design development.
• Lead design activities with support from peers, subject matter experts, and BIM designers.
• Resolve internal and external problems.
• Produce drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate customer and vendor access.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Preferred professional security certifications (CISSP, CPP, PSP, etc.).
• 12+ years of professional experience in planning, designing, and commissioning physical security systems and/or communication networks; project management experience a plus.
• In‑depth knowledge of video surveillance, access control, biometric systems, and intrusion detection.
• Experience conducting vulnerability and risk assessments.
• Ability to evaluate emerging security technologies and analyze trade‑offs.
• Strong understanding of network technologies and cybersecurity principles.

• Exceptional problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative teamwork and constructive feedback.

• Bluebeam, Revit, ACC, BIM
  360, AutoCAD, and/or Micro Station.
• CSI design and construction specifications.
• Estimating and scheduling of mid‑to‑large‑scale project design efforts.
• Construction cost estimating for security implementation.

• Leading projects and managing resources.
• Mentoring junior staff.
• Design management experience.
• Design experience in data centers.
