Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Telecom Co-Op (May-Dec 2026) in one of the below posting locations:
Frisco, TX;
Lisle, IL;
St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects.
Job Activities
- Conceptual through final design and record drawings of utility lines and related facilities
- Field visits to collect data and evaluate existing, pre-design conditions
- Construction documents and administration
- Cost estimating
- Material specifications
- General project and office support
Specific Requirements Include
- Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
- Willing to work full-time during the spring semester and summer from May – December 2026
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Excellent Communication skills
- Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license
- Micro Station or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred, but not required
