Project Engineer – Affordable Housing / Multi‑family Construction

St. Louis, MO

Base salary: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year (actual pay based on skill and experience).

• Develop project budgets, scopes of work, and manage subcontractor outreach.
• Assist with project engineering, site engineering, responding to RFIs, and punch lists.
• Interpret construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Use project management software and MS Office Suite to manage project workflow.
• Maintain strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Work independently and as part of a team, adapting to varying field conditions.
• Travel to job sites regularly and maintain reliable transportation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in project engineering, site engineering, RFIs, and punch lists.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and solve problems with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
