Project Engineer – Affordable Housing / Multi‑family Construction
St. Louis, MO
Base salary: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year (actual pay based on skill and experience).
Responsibilities- Develop project budgets, scopes of work, and manage subcontractor outreach.
- Assist with project engineering, site engineering, responding to RFIs, and punch lists.
- Interpret construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Use project management software and MS Office Suite to manage project workflow.
- Maintain strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Work independently and as part of a team, adapting to varying field conditions.
- Travel to job sites regularly and maintain reliable transportation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in project engineering, site engineering, RFIs, and punch lists.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and solve problems with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
