Geotechnical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Geotechnical Professional Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering
, with 3-8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.

• Prepare and write geotechnical engineering reports.
• Conduct geotechnical analyses, studies, and calculations.
• Review technical and construction observation reports prepared by junior engineers.
• Follow Company’s Quality Assurance and Safety policies.

• Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Interact and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Support business development through cost proposals and client presentations.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to lower-level geotechnical engineers.

• Education
  : BS in Civil Engineering or MS in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience
  : 3-8 years in geotechnical engineering, including experience with:
  • Foundations (shallow and deep)
  • Pavement design (highways and roads)
  • Geotechnical seismic design
  • Retaining structures, slope stability, water treatment plants, and sewer systems.
• Licenses
  :
  Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri, or ability to obtain licensure.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Proficiency in MS Word, Excel; experience with engineering software a plus (e.g., gINT, SLOPE/W, LPile, Shaft).
• Soft Skills
  :
  Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Travel
  :
  Ability to travel as needed; valid driver’s license required.

• Ability to perform critical thinking and analysis.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30+ pounds.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and perform field visits as required.
