Job Summary

St. Dominic High School is seeking a mission‑driven, relationship‑oriented Assistant Director of Admissions to support the recruitment, enrollment, and onboarding of prospective students and families. This role plays a key part in communicating the school’s Catholic identity, academic excellence, and commitment to student growth while ensuring a welcoming and positive admissions experience from inquiry through enrollment.

  • Represent St. Dominic High School at school fairs, parish events, community engagements, and partner school visits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families, feeder schools, community partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and executing annual recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals.
Admissions Operations
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families through email, phone, and in‑person communication.
  • Conduct campus tours, information sessions, and shadow day experiences.
  • Support the application and admissions process, including managing inquiries, application files, transcripts, recommendations, and placement assessments.
  • Assist in coordinating admissions events such as Open House, Welcome Nights, and new‑student onboarding activities.
Marketing & Communications
  • Collaborate with the Communications/Marketing team to ensure consistent, mission‑aligned messaging across digital and print materials.
  • Contribute to the creation of content highlighting student life, academic programs, and school community to support recruitment initiatives.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate prospective‑student records in the admissions database and track applicant progress.
  • Prepare reports and analytics to support enrollment planning and decision‑making.
  • Monitor trends in admissions, demographic shifts, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the Director of Admissions, faculty, counselors, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication during the enrollment cycle.
  • Uphold and promote the Catholic mission and values of St. Dominic High School in all interactions and communications.
  • Support other school events and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; experience in admissions, enrollment management, education, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Comfort with technology, data systems, and CRM/admissions software.
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends for events.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move about campus for tours and events; ability to lift and transport materials up to 20 lbs.
