Job SummaryThe Kent Intern-in-Service program is a ten-month campus ministry initiative geared towards recent college graduates who seek to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually, and to support the mission of the CSC. Key aspects of the program:
- Formation: Our goal is to develop self‑aware, professional leaders ready to live the gospel through monthly group formation meetings, one‑on‑one sessions with a staff supervisor, spiritual direction, and designated time each week for spiritual and personal growth.
- Service: Interns give their time and energy to serve students at Washington University and provide students with an example of what it means to be a Christian servant leader.
- Community: The internship provides an intentional living community through housing and emphasizes prayer, bonding, and community planning.
- Leadership: Interns are role models to the students they serve. Professional formation throughout the year cultivates strength and awareness in areas that need development. Ongoing training and a team environment are crucial to transitioning into professional careers.
