DETAILS:

* All positions are subject to adequate enrollment and are temporary summer positions

* No fringe benefits

* Program location:
Mesnier Primary School

* Positions needed are part-time during lunch/recess hours

* Summer School employment is a commitment to work all days in the program

* Stipend is $15.94/hour

TIME FRAME:

* Tentative program dates:
June 4 - July 2, 2026 (No School June 19th)

* Program is 4 weeks

* Grades K-5 will be in session Monday - Friday, 7 hours/day (+ 20 min. lunch)

* Playground/Cafeteria Monitors work Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours/day (+ 30 min. duty free lunch)

* Position also works equivalent of 1 day, for pre/post program preparation

* Juneteenth on June 19th is a non-work/school day

* Dates may be adjusted by administration as needed

* K-5 Summer School pay date TBD

QUALIFICATIONS:

* A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

* A candidate with prior experience supervising children in a daycare, school, or camp setting is preferred.

* CPR and first aid certification training is preferred.

* The ability to work independently, use good judgment, think quickly, and respond to situations in a calm, caring manner is required.

* The ability to redirect and interact positively with students is required.

* The ability to effectively supervise school-age children is required.

* The ability to work with a multi-ethnic, multicultural student population is required.

* The ability to work in extreme temperatures when outside is required.
