We are seeking a dedicated enthusiastic Teacher Assistant for the remainder of the school year to support a Pre Kindergarten teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with the teacher to facilitate classroom activities, assist with lesson plans, and provide individualized support to students. This assistant teacher will also help out in other early childhood classrooms (PreK-2nd grade) as needed.
Salary starts at $30,000 and experience is taken into consideration. Benefits are included. Our Mission at PCS:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities.
- Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance.
- Help maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Monitor student behavior and provide guidance as needed to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including grading assignments and maintaining student records.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Skills and
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in education or child development is a plus.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
