The Kirkwood School District is hiring a Math Intervention (Alternative Education Math Teacher Grades 9–12) for the 26/27 school year to support Kirkwood High School. This position serves students in an alternative learning environment and focuses on building strong relationships with students who may be disengaged from traditional school settings. The ideal candidate is flexible, creative, and committed to trauma-informed practices that support academic growth and social-emotional well‑being.

• Valid Math 9–12 teaching certification (required)
• Additional certifications in special education or alternative education are a plus

• Collaborate with counselors, administrators, and support staff to develop individualized student plans

Salary is based on the Certified Salary Schedule, dependent on relevant education & experience.
