Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior AI Learning Specialist to partner with a Director of AI Learning & Enablement. This role operates as a close thought partner to the Director within a fast‑moving lab environment, where work is highly iterative and often begins with incomplete direction. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, engages in rapid prototyping, intellectual sparring, and translates abstract strategy into concrete learning systems.
This is not a traditional instructional design role; we seek an "AI‑first" thinker who views adult learning through the lens of emerging technology and uses LLMs, agents, and automated workflows as the foundation of every project.
- Design and develop sophisticated learning systems, courses, and AI certificates that prioritize LLM integration and agentic workflows from day one.
- Act as a high‑level thought partner to the Director of AI Learning & Enablement to define the roadmap for professional learning.
- Work across various LMS platforms to build and optimize learning environments that support diverse, modern toolsets.
- Apply advanced adult learning theory to ensure AI‑driven content is not just "high‑tech," but educationally sound and measurably effective for leadership and professional development.
- Prototype new ways of teaching and learning in a highly ambiguous, fast‑evolving space.
- Education:
Doctoral‑level rigor and fluency in learning science, demonstrated through advanced degrees and/or equivalent applied research and learning systems‑building experience. - -AI-First
- Experience:
Demonstrated experience designing or prototyping AI‑enabled learning systems, such as agent‑assisted learning workflows, human‑in‑the‑loop validation processes, AI‑supported assessment or reflection tools, or structured prompt systems tied to real professional tasks. - The "AI-First" Mindset: A proven track record of building learning experiences that utilize LLMs, agents, and diverse AI toolsets; you should be an expert at leveraging AI to enhance the learner's journey.
- Technical Mastery:
Deep experience with LMS ecosystems and the ability to build and integrate complex learning systems. - Adult Learning Expertise:
Deep roots in adult learning theory and leadership development; you understand how to move the needle for high‑level professionals. - Ambiguity Tolerance: A passion for doing things in entirely new ways and the ability to thrive in a rapid, experimental environment.
