The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

The PSR Teacher plays a vital role in guiding students in their faith formation and understanding of Catholic teachings. This position involves planning and delivering engaging religious education lessons, fostering a supportive classroom environment, and helping students deepen their relationship with God.

Plan, prepare, and teach weekly religious education lessons in accordance with parish guidelines and curriculum.

Foster a respectful, faith-centered classroom environment that encourages participation and spiritual growth.

Incorporate Scripture, prayer, and Catholic traditions into lessons.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and upcoming activities.

Attend required parish meetings, training sessions, and faith formation events.

Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.

Strong knowledge of Catholic teachings, traditions, and liturgy.

Previous teaching or catechetical experience preferred, but not required.

Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to the parish’s mission and to nurturing students’ faith.
