Overview
Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the growth and development of each child. The Lead Teacher will work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community to ensure the highest standards of education and care.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
- Create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs, including special education and early intervention strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement.
- Provide nurturing toddler care while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all students.
- Conduct standardized testing as required, adapting instruction based on assessment results.
- Foster open communication with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
- Maintain an organized classroom that supports learning through various educational materials.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education setting
- Proven experience working with children in preschool settings or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate various learning needs.
- Experience in tutoring or teaching physical education is advantageous.
- A background in behavior management techniques is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in private school settings or knowledge of literacy education strategies is beneficial.
- Experience with children's educational software
