Job Title: Full‑Time 1st Grade Teacher

Location: St. Frances Cabrini Academy – St. Louis, MO

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with school and Archdiocesan curriculum standards.
• Create a warm, structured, and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning, curiosity, and respect.
• Integrate faith formation and Catholic values into daily instruction and classroom life.
• Assess student progress using a variety of tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Maintain accurate records, including lesson plans, grades, and student documentation.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other assigned duties.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum planning, school initiatives, and community‑building activities.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school wide events.
• Model Catholic values and contribute positively to the spiritual life of the school community.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Missouri teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
• Experience teaching early elementary students or working in a school setting.
• Strong classroom‑management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create engaging lessons that support academic and faith development.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Must meet Archdiocesan compliance requirements, including Safe Environment training.

This role requires professionalism, reliability, and a warm, caring presence. The 1st Grade Teacher is expected to uphold the values of St. Frances Cabrini Academy and contribute positively to the parish school community.
