Position: Dean of Students and Staff
Location: St. Louis

Job Summary

This role includes leadership responsibilities related to student behavior, staff support, and school climate.

Job Responsibilities Dean of Students
  • Promote a positive school culture by consistently implementing behavior policies and restorative practices.
  • Manage student discipline, including investigations, consequences, and follow-up communications with students and families.
  • Track behavior incidents and data to identify trends and provide interventions and supports.
  • Work proactively with students, staff, and families to prevent behavior issues and promote student well-being.
Dean of Staff
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers and support staff.
  • Assist in the annual teacher evaluation process and support professional development planning.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for staff, supporting instructional best practices and classroom management.
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and growth-oriented staff culture.
Family & Community Engagement
  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for parent concerns, especially regarding behavior and special education.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with families to foster trust and build strong partnerships.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and community engagement efforts.
Job Requirements
  • Experience in education, student affairs, or a related field is essential.
