Dean of Students

The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation features an expansive coalition of schools that allow our children to develop a sense of purpose and value, receive a higher quality education, join a welcoming community and feel secure in a dynamic future. We have a rich history, with its establishment 200 years ago by St. Rose Phillppine Duchesne. A coalition of schools serving over 50,000 students (PreK-12) within an 11-county area.

The educational experience provided to our students and their families is rooted in a higher calling from God to honor and celebrate the gifts He has given us.

This role includes leadership responsibilities related to student behavior, staff support, and school climate.

• Promote a positive school culture by consistently implementing behavior policies and restorative practices.
• Manage student discipline, including investigations, consequences, and follow-up communications with students and families.
• Track behavior incidents and data to identify trends and provide interventions and supports.
• Work proactively with students, staff, and families to prevent behavior issues and promote student well-being.

• Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers and support staff.
• Assist in the annual teacher evaluation process and support professional development planning.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for staff, supporting instructional best practices and classroom management.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and growth-oriented staff culture.

• Serve as a consistent point of contact for parent concerns, especially regarding behavior and special education.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with families to foster trust and build strong partnerships.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and community engagement efforts.

• Experience in education, student affairs, or a related field is essential.
