Classroom Facilitator (2025‑2026 School Year)

Job Title: Classroom Facilitator at Jennings School District.

Job Summary: Fostering an environment of care, belonging, and achievement in your classroom of students by welcoming students each morning, setting the vision and tone for the school day, and encouraging students to stay on‑task throughout the day.

Essential Functions:

• Take attendance and ensure students are in seats ready to learn.
• Proctor district benchmark testing.
• Ensure distraction‑free learning environment through classroom management, active monitoring, and monitoring for academic integrity.
• Meet and confer with Stride teacher of record as needed virtually.
• Monitor students in the classroom to ensure they are working on daily work.
• Print and/or make copies as needed.
• Attend parent virtual meetings with synchronous teacher if needed and add notes into SISK
  12.
• Enter grades, comments, and discipline information into SISK
  12.
• Attend IEP meetings in person and provide input.
• Provide copies of IEP accommodations to remain in compliance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal, including presentations.
• Ability to use basic, job‑related equipment.
• Be self‑motivated.
• Flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances and a diverse group of individuals.

Education Requirements: Substitute Certification.

Terms of Employment: 10‑month employee;
Medical/Dental/Life benefits in accordance with JSD policy.

FLSA Status: Exempt.
