Elementary Counselor Reed Elementary / Conway Elementary 2026-27 School Year

JOB SUMMARY: Utilize leadership, advocacy, and collaboration to promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students. This is a split position between Conway and Reed Elementary schools.

MINIMAL

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a member of the established student support team and Section 504 Team.
• Implement guidance curriculum and career/education programs for students.
• Use data to develop comprehensive programs that meet student needs.
• Maintain current and appropriate resources for education stakeholders.
• Provide responsive and preventive services to students as necessary.
• Must provide own transportation and be able to drive between two schools.

EDUCATION AND/OR

EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s degree or higher.
• Elementary counseling experience preferred.

COMPENSATION: Salary will be determined based on education and years of experience. Salary for this position is in accordance with the 206-27 Certified Staff salary schedule. These are full-time contracted teaching positions with benefits.
